BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS:

•Kid proof house as best you can (sockets covered, delicates put away, etc.)

•Limit number of kids to your child’s age.
(Example: 5 years old = 5 kids)

• Plan for more games and activities.
than you think you'll need.

• Keep food and activity areas separate.

• Get kids to smile for pictures by saying, "Strike-a-pose", "Say Cheese",

"Don't Smile", or "Simon Says, ___________________."

• Plan a quiet arrival activity.

Alternate between quiet and active games.

• Ask a friend, or hire a teenager to

help at the party.

• Watch the kids have fun while stringing breakfast cereals

(Cherrios, or Fruit Loops, etc.), on a thin strand of red licorice!

• Each child receives a cupcake to decorate for dessert. Keep

it simple! (Ex: Tubed icings, sprinkles, gumdrops.)

• Give each child a baggie filled with crushed graham crackers

and butterscotch chips. Panning for gold (butterscotch chips),

can be fun and tasty, too!
