How to use your "Story Starters":
• Print out "Story Starters" page.
• Cut apart all 24 "Story Starters".
• Put "Story Starters" in baggie and keep in "Idea Box".
• Whenever you need an idea to kick-start a story,
simply put your hand in the baggie and pull out a "Story Starter"!
• Don't forget to name your characters, create a setting (where
your story takes place), and use your great imagination
to create a spectacular ending to your story.
• Write your story down, dictate it to an adult, or have an adult
help you record it into a tape recorder or video tape it.
• Save your stories in your "Idea Box", until
you're ready to create a "Book" or "Cartoon Strip".
